A surprising thing is that when you give your images an ALT-tag, this will influence your ranking in a positive way. Search engines use ALT tags on images to develop a better understanding of the contents of the page. This influences a variety of factors that eventually impacts rage rank. The TITLE of the images also has an impact.

You should also give you images a descriptive filename, but since WebsiteX5 renames all your images to a format like p012_0_02.jpg you shouldn't bother with this...

Unfortunately WebsiteX5 doesn't allow you to give a value for the TITLE-tag, but if you also want to define a TITLE-tag for each images on the screen you can use Gunslingers technique to copy the value of the ALT-tag to the TITLE-tag which is described on this page.
