To create a website in a different languages which uses a different character set (Russian, Greek, Thai,...) you have to follow these steps :
- From the Windows Control Panel, choose 'International and language settings' icon and from the 'Advanced' tab set the desired language as the default one. Windows will restart automatically.This operation is needed only if the new language contains special characters different from the standard characters (ie: UNICODE).
- Set the related keybord in the same language of the website. To change the language of the keyboard you can use the icon which you normally find in the Windows status bar, next to the system clock.
- Edit the LANGUAGE.INI file adding the translation related to the new language.You can find many translation of the LANGUAGE.INI file present into our official forum.
Now it's possible to start WebSite X5 to create your new website. Remember to set the new language content from the step 1 'General Settings'.
